We believe in bad dogs… or in other words, we believe that there are no bad dogs. There are reactive dogs. There are dogs that other dogs - and people - react to. Big dogs. Black dogs. Dogs with cropped ears. Intact dogs. Anxious dogs. There are many reasons a daycare, a group dog walker, or a traditional solo dog walker isn’t the right fit for a challenging dog… that’s where we come in.
We have more than 20 years experience dealing with large, powerful dogs and with the stigmas and negative preconceptions that can be associated with them. We are strong advocates of positive only and rewards based training methods and have a history of managing dogs with special needs , whether those needs are behavioural or physical . If your dog is reactive, we can manage that. If your dog needs physical support, we can manage that too. We set your dog up for success on safe, solo, stimulating leash walks.
We are based in the dog friendly West End of Vancouver, BC and are available to work with your dog in the West End and Kitsilano neighbourhoods.

Our Services
Private WalkS
We offer private walks specifically tailored to your dogs needs, with the goal of increasing confidence and decreasing reactivity.
Our focus is on managing exposure and decreasing sensitivity through positive re-enforcement.
We use positive, rewards based methods only.
Walks are available in 30, 45, and 60 minute durations for $25, $35, and $45 respectively.
Daily check-ins or chauffeur service for veterinary trips may also be available on request.

COVID-19
Covid-19 Safety Plan
Social Distancing
We only provide private dog walking services. We do not meet with other dogs while out on leash. We do not take your dog to dog parks or off-leash areas. We do not allow people to interact with your dog while we are walking them. We follow strict social distancing at all times and are adept at anticipating and avoiding situations. We carry masks at all times for situations where social distancing is not possible, insufficient, or where masks are mandated.
Low-contact or no-contact handoffs
If you are home, we can coordinate via text so you can harness your dog and put him/her in the backyard, porch, gated area, or foyer. You can also bring the dog out on your own 6 foot leash and we will clip on with our own leash.
If you are not home, we ask that all walking gear be placed by the door so we can be in and out of your home as efficiently as possible.
Hygiene
Walkers will wash hands or use a minimum 60% alcohol sanitizer before and after each walk. They also carry cleaner to disinfect doorknobs, keys, frequently used surfaces to minimize risk of any cross-contamination.
Isolating when sick
* Dog walkers with any signs of illness will be required to stay home. If this causes an unanticipated change to your booking, we will contact you directly as soon as possible and work with you to find alternate arrangements.
* Clients experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 are asked to let us know immediately: Symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat and painful swallowing. We will waive cancellation charges if you feel sick and need to isolate.
